The Division of Student Affairs at UC Santa Barbara, led by Interim Vice Chancellor Michael Miller and the Executive Leadership Team, is dedicated to fostering student success through collaboration and engagement with our diverse campus community.
Our mission is to advance the university's education, research, and service objectives by offering programs and services that enhance students' academic achievement, personal development, well-being, and overall success.
As dedicated, compassionate, and collaborative professionals, we cultivate lifelong leaders and learners who recognize and appreciate the dignity of individuals and communities.

The Division of Student Affairs is Comprised of over 30 Departments Organized into Three Clusters:
STUDENT ENROLLMENT & SUCCESS
Student Enrollment & Success focuses on supporting students from their first point of contact with UCSB to graduation. Key departments provide resources for academic achievement, personal development, and overall student success. Services include admissions, financial aid, career services, academic assistance, sustainability initiatives, and support for diverse student populations such as undocumented students, veterans, and international students.
STUDENT LIFE
The Student Life cluster enhances the campus experience by fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging community. This cluster encompasses a wide range of services and programs aimed at promoting student involvement, leadership, and wellness. It includes student conduct, civic engagement, multicultural programs, student publications, student development, and services for children and families, along with orientation and parent programs.
STUDENT WELLBEING
Student Wellbeing ensures that students have access to comprehensive physical and mental health services that support their overall wellness. This cluster includes counseling and psychological services, student health services, recreation, wellness programs, and mental health coordination. These departments work together to provide holistic care, helping students thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically throughout their time at UCSB.
