We are pleased to introduce the inaugural Student Affairs Cabinet, established in January 2025 by former Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Margaret Klawunn. This Cabinet was created to foster collaboration and innovation in the Division of Student Affairs, with a focus on enhancing student services, improving departmental effectiveness, enriching staff experiences, and streamlining administrative processes.

Interim Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Michael Miller, serves as Chair and Convener of the Cabinet, with Miles Ashlock, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, providing staff support. The Cabinet meets monthly, offering members a platform to bring forward concerns from their departments, develop a more holistic understanding of the Division’s operations, and contribute to discussions that inform the Executive Leadership Team’s decision-making.

By creating this Cabinet, we hope to strengthen communication across the Division and provide staff with a greater sense of voice and representation in divisional conversations.
